Dear Coach, Athletic Director, Administrator, and Alumni!
I sent you a note recently about the Spring Football League. I want to follow up — not to sell you something, but because I believe God has already spoken to you about this, and silence has a cost.
Scripture is not subtle about what happens when we hear and do not act.
Jonah heard God's clear instruction — preach in Nineveh. He fled in the opposite direction. The result was not just personal hardship. A ship full of innocent men was caught in a terrifying storm because of one man's delay. His disobedience created ripple effects he never intended.
King Saul received a direct command. He almost obeyed — kept what he thought was too good to waste. That partial obedience cost him his kingdom. Not someday. That day.
Moses, one of the most faithful men in all of Scripture, struck the rock in a moment of frustration instead of speaking to it as God instructed. One act of deviation from God's specific word, and the Promised Land was forfeited. After forty years of faithfulness.
Lot's wife was steps from salvation. She looked back. Just looked. And was stopped in her tracks permanently.
These are not cautionary tales about bad people. These are warnings for obedient people — people who love God, who serve faithfully, who are close enough to hear His voice clearly. The danger is not always outright rebellion. Sometimes it is simply delay. Hesitation. Waiting for a more convenient season.
The Israelites wandered 40 years for a journey that should have taken 11 days. The wilderness was not a punishment for unbelievers. It was the consequence of delayed obedience among people who had already seen God move.

I am not writing to condemn. I am writing because the Spring Football League exists at the intersection of exactly where you have been called to serve — and the window is open right now!
That requirement exists because we believe these men do not just need a paycheck and a certification — though we provide both. They need what you carry. The counsel, the community, the Word, the presence of someone who has been where they are and found solid ground.
We are not asking you to add something to your plate. We are asking whether you will step into a room God has already prepared.
The way back from any delay is always the same:
— Acknowledge it.
— Turn around immediately.
— Take the next step God already told you to take before waiting for new instructions.
This may be that step.
